We was talking one day about our bucket list and walking across Morecambe Bay came up with us all as we all live round the Bay Area and thought this would be a challenge, and something you should do at least once, So here we are. Cross Bay Walk - June 25 2023

Starting from Arnside and ending at Grange over Sands, this fabulous event will leave you wanting to do it all again! Approximately three and a half hours walking on the sands of Morecambe Bay taking in all that it has to offer. It really is a unique experience.

At Bay Hospitals Charity, we aim to make our local hospitals better for everyone. We are a registered charity set up to hold and manage charitable funds given to University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
Meet the team

We are a small team dedicated to achieving big things. We manage all fundraising and donations for the NHS University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust, including the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Furness General Hospital and Westmorland General Hospital also Ulverston, Millom and our Community teams.
Donation made to Furness General Hospital ward in memory of former Barrow police officer

A woman who married her terminally ill partner on a Furness General Hospital ward visited to make a donation of £1,500 in her husband’s memory.

£84,000 donation supports NHS workers in Lancashire and Cumbria

In April the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust received a generous award of £84,000 from the national Coronavirus campaign by NHS Charities Together. Now these funds are being spent on improvements and schemes to benefit frontline staff working tirelessly at these hospitals. Read more
