Lighting up our Christmas trees

Such a lovely opportunity to feel festive as we sing Christmas carols and light up our trees. We hope you will join us at one or all events. Refreshments are available.

Furness General Hospital - Main Entrance - Thursday 7 December - 6.30pm Carols sung by choirs at St George’s School & Roose School accompanied by Askam Town Silver Band.

Westmorland General Hospital - Main Entrance Tuesday 12 December - 4.00pm Carols sung by Two Valleys Choir.

Royal Lancaster Infirmary - Centenary Thursday 14 December - 3.45pm Carols sung by Bowerham School Choir.

Santa Dash 2023

Join us for a fun day of celebrations at Barrow AFC and take part in this popular event. The Santa Dash 2023 is hosted by the Rotary Club of Furness. Registration is on the Rotary Club of Furness website. Funds raised from the run will be shared between Bay Hospitals Charity, St Mary's Hospice and the Rotary Club of Furness.
Charity dinner to raise funds for Oncology

A charity dinner is being held at the Abbey House Hotel in March next year to raise money for Bay Hospitals Charity in support of Furness General Hospital's Oncology team and the Rosemere Cancer Centre in Preston in memory of Linda Johnson (Lindy to most) - an adored wife, mother and grandmother who passed away earlier this year from cancer.
