After months of training, around 100 intrepid Bay Hospitals Charity supporters take on the challenging adventure of the annual Keswick to Barrow Walk on Saturday 13 May.

The charity is calling on its supporters to sponsor its walkers to raise as much money as possible in support of local hospitals.

Funds donated to the charity will be used to provide the latest equipment for University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, helping make patients more comfortable and ensure they get the best possible care and treatment.

Walkers and runners get the chance to experience a challenging 39-mile route passing through amazing scenery in the heart of the Lake District. A shorter 21-mile route starts from Coniston.

Bay Hospitals Charity Head of Charities and Fundraising Suzanne Lofthouse said: “Last year the Keswick to Barrow walk raised £20,000 for Bay Hospitals Charity.

“We’d love to raise even more at the Keswick to Barrow Walk 2023, so please sponsor our amazing supporters.”
