As well as being a fantastic day out with spectacular views, it’s a great opportunity to raise funds for our hospitals across Morecambe Bay by collecting sponsorship.

If you’re not a confident cyclist, don’t worry – there are options suitable for everyone, with magnificent scenery on each of the 5, 13, 23 or 50 mile routes.

5 mile route

The ideal choice for families with small children, mainly taking place on cycle paths along the picturesque coastline, and including refreshments at the halfway point.

13 mile route

Perfect for family groups or the leisure cyclist, this route will take you along dramatic areas of coastline and through the beautiful ‘Vale of the Deadly Nightshade’ where you’ll also find the ruins of Furness Abbey.

23 mile route

Recommended for the more experienced leisure cyclist, you’ll take in the magnificent Furness coastline and make your way through miles of attractive countryside, including the ancient ruins of Furness Abbey.

50 mile route

For confident cyclists, this route takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in Cumbria, travelling along the coast road to Ulverston and around Coniston Water.  We’ll be getting competitive… will you?
