Take part in our Super Sands Walk weekend this July and support your local hospitals.

The Cross Bay and Piel Island walks are a fabulous way to raise money for your local hospitals, which we all love. As the NHS turns 70 on 5 July, this is a great way to celebrate, keep fit and give a little back. We’d love you to join us!

Cross Bay Walk – 7 July 2018

Local legend and Queen’s official guide, Cedric Robinson MBE, will be leading around 300 intrepid walkers across eight miles of sands on the Cross Bay Walk.

This annual sponsored walk takes place on Saturday 7 July 2018, starting at 12pm (registration opens at 11am) from Arnside and ends at Kents Bank.

Piel Island Walk – 8 July 2018

If a shorter walk is for you, then you will enjoy our latest Piel Island Walk on Sunday 8 July 2018, led by expert guide John Murphy.

Walkers will stroll along the sands to Piel Island and Castle where John will explain the history of this beautiful area.

The route starts at Snab Point, Walney, at 11am (registration opens at 10.30am) and ends at the same location.
