Join us as we light up Christmas trees at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Furness General Hospital on Thursday 6 December.

It is a time to reflect and remember loved ones past and present whilst singing Christmas carols to get you feeling festive.

The first tree to be lit up for Christmas will be at the entrance to Centenary building at the RLI from 4-6pm. The children from Bowerham Primary and Nursery School be singing for you and our hospital Chaplain, Ian Dewar will be saying a few words and offering a Christmas blessing. We also have a surprise visit from Santa 🎅 for the children (and adults). Refreshments are provided and you can purchase tickets for our fantastic Christmas raffle.
The switch on for FGH will be 6.30-8.00pm in the entrance to the hospital. Barrow Rotary have once again kindly donated the tree. We have Christmas carols from Roose Primary School St Georges C of E School as well as Barrow Steel Works Band. Refreshments and raffle tickets will be available.

We really hope you will come along to one of your local hospitals which are at the heart of your community to Light up Christmas.
